We are pleased to reveal that The Museum in the Park in Stroud will be featuring an exhibition of work by Shirley Baker from 1st to 30th March. Shirley Baker Street Photography contains both black and white and early colour photographs taken primarily in Manchester and Salford, mainly during the 1960s and ’70s.
Coinciding with the exhibition, there will also be a screening of the film Shirley Baker: Life Through a Lens. The film is being shown by Stroud Film Festival and the screening event will take place at 2pm on 8th March.

Shirley Baker: Life Through a Lens is written and produced by John West, co-produced and directed by Jason Figgis and co-produced by Nan Levy in association with The Shirley Baker Estate. The film is narrated by Samantha Beckinsale, sister of Kate Beckinsale.
Exhibition: March 1 to March 30.
Screening: March 8 at 2pm. £8 (pay it forward) / £6 (standard) / £4 (low income/cost of living affected)
