If you are attending Paris Photo or happen to be in Paris, the James Hyman Gallery will be presenting a selection of iconic as well as unseen vintage prints by Shirley Baker at the prestigious Paris Photo Fair at the Grand Palais from the 10th until the 13th of November 2016.
This specially curated selection focuses on her evocative photographs of children playing in the streets of Manchester and Salford. However, in contrast to the way her pictures are more usually selected, this presentation draws particular attention to the diverse ethnicities of those shown.
